A new novel that offers refreshing insight into the intimacy, shortcomings, and experimentation of marriage. Ben Seidel and his wife, Shira, had been growing apart after Shira’s cancer treatment causes her infertility. Now, their life that was perfectly planned out is no longer possible and Shira feels lost without the ability to have the kids she has always wanted. Ben wasn’t sure how serious Shira was when they discussed an open marriage, and suddenly his wife has a girlfriend, and he doesn’t know what to do. Every day is new terrain for Ben, navigating between keeping things together with Shira and exploring new partners. And when one of those new partners begins to matter to him more than he ever anticipated, he discovers that the complexities of this new life are only just beginning. Ben and Shira are faced with a difficult question, is their love for one another enough?
